Warehouse solution designing engineers working for 3PL companies usually do not have luxury of time for a warehouse design projects. This is partly due to customer demand and partly because of competition in market to provide quick solution and feedback. Practically feasible solution has to be designed with rules of thumb, data from from customer and in many cases lot of assumptions have to be made. This article is written in info-graphic way to provide reader a glimpse of few of many thumb rules which are used for quick solution designing of a racked and bulk storage warehouse.
